Exposure changes possibilities.

The ICU Project meets basic needs, builds meaningful relationships and creates transformative experiences for young people in the Augusta River Region, so they can see a future beyond their current circumstances and choose their own path.

We meet young people where they are, then widen the view.

  • Meeting basic needs

Hygiene supplies and everyday essentials, so a lack of basics never decides who gets to learn and belong.

  • Building relationships

Steady connections with mentors, professionals and community leaders who show up for young people.

  • Creating experiences

Workshops, field trips and first-hand exposure to college, careers, culture and the arts.

60students at a local alternative middle and high school are getting the hygiene basics they go without at home.

Current project

Operation Morgan Rd.

Many of these students lack toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and even access to a washing machine. Our board started the effort with their own donations and an emergency call, and made sure every student went home with a gift bag for the holidays.

The gaps we're working to close

As a community-focused nonprofit, we take on the barriers facing disenfranchised youth and developing adults in the Augusta River Region.

  • Individuals and communities without enough access to essential necessities.
  • Gaps in life skills and education.
  • Limited self-sufficiency, sustainability and professional opportunity.
